« WOW - from the minute I first googled this place to the stay, to the incredible breakky & hosts, we were thrilled. It was just as beautiful as I expected - only regret is we didn't stay longer! We will absolutely be back - thank you :) »

« The hotel is new, very clean, complimentary cofee/hot chocolate machine in the lobby with marshmallows for kids 😁 Movie room in the lobby for kids. The room is very nice, big enough for our party of 5, with kitchen just like at home (dishwasher, refrigerator…) Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. They charge $20 for the parking per night. We will come back »

« This place was so nice and cozy, i would say better than the pictures even. Fireplaces upstairs and downstairs were a hit, and it was super quiet at nice. A great place to get away and rest. We even extended our stay and had them deliver more firewood it was so nice. I would gladly return, or at least see what else Cool Cabins has to offer. Close to the lake and shops nearby, but away from traffic and backs onto the forest. Whats not to like? »

« It was good, but there were definitely some bad impressions. Once we booked via Expedia, we were sent a link to a lengthy check-in contract. We learned upon arrival that we were required to take out the trash, and the drop-off location is 15 minutes from the property! That's ridiculous. We have been to Big Bear many times and have stayed at various vacation rentals; we have never been required to take out our own trash. For the price and all the caveats, I am not sure I can recommend. »

« The house was very beautiful and check in/out was very accommodating. Fireplace and home was clean and had enough pans to cook as well as cups / forks knives and seasonings which was a plus. Just a few things that we had issues with ; ceilings upstairs were sloped where the beds were so my husband kept banging his head. If you’re trying to be quiet upstairs you cannot because the floors creak really bad but that’s common in the cold for hardwood floors. The upstairs had only a tub so in...

« The cabin is in a great location right by the resort. It does need some attention though as the rooms are freezing and there were no space heaters. The big heater only heats the hallway and kitchen so bring something to keep warm at night in the bedrooms. The shower barely works, most of the water fills the tub and doesn’t come out of the shower head. Also there is very limited hot water so if you have more than 2 people staying here showering can be time consuming while you wait for the heater...

« I would definitely go again. We were family with school age kids, kids enjoyed playing in a nice game room. The house was professionally kept clean, house decoration was superb and view was great. Good location, great house and host. »

« The cabin is quite run down. The closet door in the master was broken and there were no hangers to hang anything. Everything was very tired and had seen better days. It felt like we were camping. The highlight for us was the jacuzzi and the football table, which we enjoyed as a family. Needs an update for the price. »
