'Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.'

'We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. 'I had a really lovely stay at the Cross Foxes. The room was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. I got some useful advice for one of my walks and enjoyed spectacular views as a result. The food in the restaurant was fantastic.'
