'Quinta Velha’s a gem tucked in Sintra’s hills, about a 10-minute walk from Pena Palace and the village center. It’s a small, upscale B&B on two hectares of forest, with a cool mix of old Portuguese charm and modern touches—think restored 1800s beams paired with sleek furniture. We stayed in one of the six suites, which felt cozy and private, like a boutique hideaway. The place was redone in 2019, so everything’s fresh but still has history.

'Great location and super friendly staff. We appreciated the included breakfast. The room was on the small and dated side but was well cared for. The bathroom was updated with a stand up shower, no tub. Entry was accessible for a stroller and they were very kind about our kiddo.'

On the roof you find the bar and pool. Towels are provided on the sunbeds. View from this point is very good. Pool is spacious but keep in mind it is 1,10m deep all the way. Would def recommend when visiting Cascais. It is 5 min Uber or 30 min walk to the center of Cascais '
'In Cascais, this is perfectly located. 5 mins walk to the city center for all the restaurants and shops but just around the corner where this is private and quiet. Also had to beat is that this sits across a park on one side, and then a walled fortress in front where the area has been converted to contain some specialty shops within a plaza. The staff are great, the area safe, and the breakfast and pastries were a delight!'

"Hotel ligt op een heuvel waar binnen 10 min lopen niets is.Kamer was netjes en schoon,badkamer was prima.Op kamer is airco en koelkast aanwezig,wifi werkte prima.Wat wel een dingetje was de geluidsoverlast van de kamers rondom.Ontbijt was matig en minimaal,zouden ze met wat kleine aanpassingen kunnen verbeteren.Zwembad is prima,miste daar wel wat toezicht.
