Blokhutten in Charlottesville

'Lekker ontspannen in de bergen na drukke dagen in de grootsteden. Heerlijk rustig en afgelegen zodat alles een paar versnellingen lager zich afspeelt. Een fijne cabin, volledig uitgerust. Een fijne gastvrouw.'

'Good stay. Beautiful scenery and walk. River is beautiful. Quiet and comfortable. '

'Beautiful Fall setting surrounded by quiet privacy. Loved sitting in the hot tub looking at the night sky during a crisp fall evening. Place very clean and cozy!'

'Beautiful views, perfect location, loved the friendly horses (if you pull a bunch of grass, the all brown stallion will eat it from your palm). Location is close to multiple restaurants and grocery stores and beautiful scenery. Could not have asked for a better long weekend anywhere else. Thank you.'

'Cabin was super cozy and relaxing. Communication was very clear and all questions were answered quickly. Loved all of the outdoor seating options and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. My dog enjoyed running all over the property, exploring the paths and chasing birds.'

'Very homey spacious place. The horses loved to say hi!'

'We had a wonderful time during our stay in Virginia. We enjoyed the secluded, tranquil vibe of the property. The property and the surrounding countryside are absolutely beautiful. It was very convenient to visit the Shenandoah National Park access points, as well as Monticello. We highly recommend this home for your vacation stay.'

'The cottage was beyond our expectations and we have stayed all over the world. We have even booked again for next year, which we have never done with a property but this place was perfect, relaxing, well equipped and our dog loved it too.We would highly recommend it!'

'The views were amazing! Loved waking up and seeing the lake. We saw deer and a bald eagle. I got to kayak for the first time and be rowed around in the row boat by my husband (even tho they didn't have the proper oars, had to use the kayaks). They were all provided by the host. The only negative is the walk down to the lake. It's steep and what steps are there aren't very usable. Would stay here again.'

'Great spot. Private, great fishing and swimming in the Rockfish River. Tons of wildlife. The cabin is great. Clean and everything works! John was a great host.'
