The Gateway Arch, or the St. Luis arch to the West. Part of the Jefferson National Memorial. The observation deck is 630 feet up and is the tallest manmade monument in the United States. It opened in 1967 and you could either walk to the top or take a very interesting elevator to the top, small capsules that fit five people and zig zag their way to the top in four minutes. As I drove into St. Luis it can be seen above the horizon and because it is stainless steel shines bright as you come in. To anyone who can, I would say go, Seeing it in person it is immense! When seeing it form a distance it doesn't really look that big, but up close, looking straight up to the top it is incredible!

« Clean and easily accessible from the water. Ample room for 6 adult males to sleep comfortably. We really enjoyed having the ice machine on the dock. We had our own ice bags so loading the boat in the morning before our trip offshore was quick and quiet. We loaded bags the night before and placed them in the deep freezer, and then we loaded those into the fish boxes in the morning. I can confidently say we didnt disturb any of the neighbors with noise since we headed out at 4:15am. »

« Beautiful and peaceful. A perfect getaway to relax and recharge. The houseboat is lovely and was just as nice as any hotel room. I have to admit, I did have to use YouTube to figure out the toilet, but it’s super easy. Bed was comfy and the projection screen was amazing. It was nice to sit on the deck and watch the sunrise. There’s also a bar and grill just a few feet away. Staff was so friendly. Overall, cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommend! »
