« Beautiful setting. Great and spacious bedroom and bathroom suite. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful gardens which were quiet. At present their restaurant and spa are closed which was disappointing. I would recommend having a car to stay here as it isn’t possible to walk anywhere and it is c30 minutes in a taxi to Cape Town and 15 minutes to Hout bay. We had expected to be able to eat in the hotel. »

« Love staying here. Beautiful property, wonderful staff, slept like a baby. Breakfast is amazing. Pool is simple but lovely. I even worked out with the owner, Martin. Very family-owned vibe. Get a SPA/massage from Susie. She was amazing. All in all, a wonderful place, run by wonderful people. I will return! Oh yeah, spend a beach day at Llandudno, perhaps the prettiest beach I've ever seen at sunset, frigid waters but just a lovely place to send an afternoon. »

« Most incredible stay at the most incredible hotel. Everything was just perfect, the staff makes you feel like you’re at home, they are super attentive, kind and helpful. The hotel architecture and design is impressive beautiful and very cozy with fire places everywhere, a private cinema room. « Tres bel hôtel et superbe vue. Le service pourrait etre amélioré pour ce prix. Nous avons eu une chambre voisine d’un lieu de stockage et nous avons ete reveille a 6h30. Cependant en le faisant remarquer le personnel a fait les efforts pour que ca ne se reproduise pas. La chambre etait magnifique et le petit dejeuner absolument divin. Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que ce soit parfait. Le service pressing est aussi assez long par rapport a d’autres hôtels du pays. »

« On top of being an exceptionally beautiful and well serviced hotel, the hotel also attracts the locals which creates a very nice vibe in the restaurants. The staff was amazingly kind to our little son too. I highly recommend this place to anyone willing to discover Cape Town and the surroundings, far away from the busy streets, and reasonable driving distance to everything. »
