B&B in Central Vermont

'The bed and breakfast is just that! No one after a certain hour, and the free breakfast is for one hour, 08:30/09:30. Grounds are beautiful, and the interior is interesting. The home was built by a rich person in the late 1800-time frame. But, it's like a morgue once breakfast is over. The town it's in is very quiet also. Everything closes at 20:30 or 21:30. When you leave the town be prepared to drive up into mountains or manage driving down said mountain. Locals drive faster than...

'Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub (hot tub looked brand new!). Overall, the facility is dated and could benefit from a makeover. Also, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, which is normally not a problem in New Hampshire, but our weather was warm and humid at night.'

'We happened to be there during the week between weddings so had the place mostly to ourselves. Lovely farm setting with vegetable gardens and chickens and pigs to wander among. There was a lovely watercolor painting exhibit in barn. Extensive trail system right behind the fields. Manager Stacy was very gracious and helpful. Breakfast cooked to order, delicious. Very peaceful setting.'

'Het gebouw is een soort woonhuis van 100 jaar oud. Dat betekent veel lift en krakende houten vloeren trappen. Kamer klein en eenvoudig. Elders was een koelkast te gebruiken. Ruime parkeer gelegenheid gratis. Service is vriendelijk en goed. Het huis biedt op het balkon gelegenheid om te zitten en wat te drinken. Wel is de prijs te hoog voor wat er geboden werd. Maar het is wel centraal gelegen in montpelier.'
