'The location is beautiful, safe, and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious, with something slightly different each day, and it was delivered right to our chalet. I stayed for 4 nights with my two teenage kids, and they absolutely loved the cosy look and feel of the chalet. Since it’s a mountain area, the mornings and evenings can get quite chilly, and rain can come at any time. Thankfully, the electric heated mattresses kept us warm and comfortable. 'My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. '

'Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy.'
