'100 USD hold on the credit card remains two weeks after checkout. Contacted the hotel manager via mail, no acknowledgement or response. I will update my comment after resolution of the problem.'

'This property is a hidden gem! What a wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. Beautiful garden with towering redwood trees to relax and enjoy, every amenity available to us to use at our leisure, very comfortable bed and pillows, very welcoming and thoughtful staff and a great breakfast. I can't say enough...it truly was perfect! As far as we are concerned, there couldn't possibly be any better place to stay in Big Bear and we cannot wait to return and stay again!'

'The perfect trip! We stayed in LB as we needed to be close to Redondo Beach as well as the OC. Dockside was the perfect location. This was a short trip for my daughter’s wedding, but we are already making plans to come back. Everything about Dockside was on point. They accommodated our late check in, the place was immaculate and you can easily walk to the Long Beach hot spots. To top it off, I opened my mailbox today and found a photo we accidentally left onboard. They mailed it to us! ...

'Amazing hotel and extremely helpful and friendly staff!! Clean and surprisingly quiet for it's location. Each room is unique, while still keeping it's historic charm. They offer a breakfast, that most hotels do not, that has a great variety to appease all diets. The rooftop view is incredible along with the rooms. So lucky to have found this wonderful Inn.'

'Front desk faces Moonridge and is open until 5. Kameron was helpful. Parking spaces are not large, consider driving a medium SUV or a smaller vehicle when you stay here. Slow down; easy to overshoot the two entrances from Moonridge. I stayed in the Crabapple room that faced the main road. While I felt safe, I did not want to open the window due to road noise. No fridge, microwave, or closet in room. Attractive decor throughout; it looks a bit overwhelming on the photos but is quite relaxing....
