'Great stay with a big group of family. Unlike most other properties around it, this is an older cottage; it exhibits more wear but also way more charm than the new builds, and it has enough updates to keep it comfortable. Very spacious and the porch was great. We had one elderly guest for whom the lack of railings in the showers and bannister on the second floor staircase was a challenge, but this didn't bother anyone else. Great little coffee shop & eatery "It's Coffee Time" on Wrightsville Ave, just a short stroll from the Hideaway if no time to make your own at the property. Very easy to get to downtown Wilmington or the lovely Wrightsville Beach.'

'Photos are very accurate and house is clean. Communication with owner via app was good. Check-in a breeze and check-out, while it had a few requirements, was clearly communicated. House worked well for us (close to downtown and we had a car to get around). Neighborhood is okay - a bit transitional and it is steps from the train which whistled nightly at 10 pm. Be sure to check out Greenfield Park and the South Front area which is just 2 blocks away - several great restaurants and an awesome...

'Really enjoyed our stay. Hubby and I stayed 5 days with our two little dogs. Everyone enjoyed the Cozy Cottage. It was clean, tastefully decorated, well stocked and the host was very accommodating. We’ll miss our stay, and can’t wait to return someday. Also, the little black kitty became our friend! Excellent place!'

'Responsive communications with the hosts and the property was well represented in the photos. Beautiful shared backyard space with several spots to relax in front. The hosts provided lots of great info prior to arrival on local restaurants and grocery stores. The location was excellent and only a short 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Lifeguards are posted at the beach during the summer season. The street was peaceful and quiet at all times. I would love to stay in the upstairs unit next...
