« We loved everything about our stay. We had gone up to go to the I-500, but decided to stay right where we were, it was so peaceful and lovely. The host is most generous and very hospitable. « We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again! »

« What a perfect trip. This location was great for us, we loved the little trail to the water also. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The hardest part about staying in rental homes is you never know what they have, well, they have it all! We will absolutely stay again. »

« We spend a great deal of time in the UP, having just graduated our son from LSSU this past weekend. While we could have rented a hotel room for the three nights, I wanted a remote setting with our home feeling and the ability to cook for our son after his graduation. « Did we enjoy our stay? Yes Would we like to stay there again? Yes But the cabin may not be for everyone. « The cabin was very clean and beautiful. We had a great time on the paddle boat and caught around 14 pike and 1 perch. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking over the lake. The grass was freshly mowed and looked so nice. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again. »

« This was a girls weekend for my mom, her sister and my friend. The property is very nice and there is a nice place to sit where you can watch the boats pass by. The large picture window in the living room is also great for this. The seating in the living room is great for relaxing and visiting. Appreciated the timely and clear communication with the host. »

« Quaint and cozy cabin on a beautiful property! The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Communication from the host was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Wish we could have stayed longer! Just a note that once on the island there is only one bar that serves food, and one nice little store that has a good variety of necessities, so plan accordingly. »

« Our experience at this cabin in was outstanding. It’s a perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature. The hosts were very responsive. They live right across the street if anything happened to come up. Nothing did, but it was good to know. I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return for another visit! »

« We rented for a snowmobiling long weekend for 3 couples, and the place was perfect for that purpose. The issues we had were very small and insignificant (e.g., no basket in the coffee maker). I very much recommend this place, particularly for snowmobiling. »

« This is a nice small cabin with a great view of the lake. We stayed for one weekend off season but I am sure it is a great place to vacation in the summer. It has everything you need, very clean, and the hosts go out if their way to make sure you are comfortable. It is an upgrade from camping but if luxury is your style, it isn’t for you. »
