« This property was exactly as pictured and the owner was quick in communicating with us in both getting needed information to us and responding to any concerns we had. We enjoyed looking up the history of the cottage's stone work and everything about our stay here and in this lovely town. Very charming and well maintained property. We look forward to possibly staying here again if our future travels bring us back through Chester, VT. »

« We enjoyed our stay. It was a beautiful cottage on a very nice pond. We enjoyed kayaking, eating our meals on the deck overlooking the water, and enjoying a fire every night. It also was only a couple hours away from Fort Ticonderoga, so we enjoyed going there one day. »

« Near Brattleboro and great restaurants and shopping, but remote for privacy and scenic views. The cottage was quite clean and had everything we needed. Got a bit lost when we were close, and the hosts actually drove out to where we were to help us find it. Comfy bed (we only used one bedroom), well-stocked pantry. Overall wonderful experience. »

« The Honey Bear Cottage is adorable. The cottage is well stocked and immaculate. The adjustable bed is extremely comfortable. We did not get to use the fire pits or the upstairs bedroom but we did get to enjoy Big Pond, using the kayak and pedal boat. The hostess, Linda Jane is very attentive to your needs. Watching the stars from the deck is amazing. I would love to stay again. Very relaxing! »

« Very comfortable beds! This property is what you would expect from a cottage in Vermont, but there's so much more! We were surprised by the very well equipped kitchen and the vicinity to Woodford State Park also worked out really well for us. Would definitely recommend! »

« Wonderful property! Check-in was effortless, and communication was excellent. The property had the southern charm my family and I desired, with ample space. The kids and our dog Rider had a ball. All the amenities you could think of, just in case you may have forgotten something. The quiet and serene nature of the property was beautiful, and I am so happy we chose to stay here. « We had a truly wonderful stay. The cottage and property are beautiful, peaceful and very special. Great views! Our host thought of everything, it's very comfortable and lovely. Best place to stay in Southern Vermont! Don't miss the Tiny Bread Box on Saturdays; it's just up the road. We'll defiantly be back for another visit. »

« The house was everything we wanted and more. Loaded with space, kitchen supplies, comfort, a grill, gorgeous stone fireplace. The location on. sleepy back road in the woods was beautiful and quiet. The only complaint is that they make you take your trash with you when you go. There was a pass for the local dump which helped offset the inconvenience. Otherwise, A+ »

« Love this property. We had everything we needed and then some. wasn't exactly sure as to where to put the trash as I don't have email on my phone , therefore I didn't receive the email about the trash and laundry until I got back home. I would rather have been able to text but everything worked out for us, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time. »

« Cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. Check in was a breeze and they had a very generous check in check out time which I appreciated. It was on a quiet dead-end street so no through traffic and the sound of the brook was calming. The beds were comfortable. It's not that far of a walk from the parking to the house. Happy we could bring our dogs as well. Short drive to town. Love the Vegan Restaurant in Brattleboro the food was delicious. We hiked a few trails that were nearby. Wish we had...
