'Crown City Inn in Coronado is such a unique gem. I typically only stay in big ‘upscale’ hotels and unless they’re truly distinguished I don’t like them very much. The Crown’s beach motel vibe was perfect, it’s charming, quant, clean, and perfectly situated. Getting out of the bustle that is downtown SD, and taking retreat at the Crown was a great choice. I should have said something when we check in but once I got over what I was expecting, the room location was okay but the room itself was over the top. 'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Staff were super sweet when I arrived last minute late due to my other accommodations not working out. Check in was smooth and quick. Once entering my room it was perfectly put in place and was able to reset/refresh feeling safe & comfortable. Loved the water in room as well! '
