'It feels like this hotel is transitioning.. we noticed old beds piled outside and “newer” beds coming in. When we first arrived and tried to shower after a long day there was hair in the towels. The shower was not cleaned well, had soap scum between the shower doors that you could only see while inside with the doors closed. The bathrooms seem to have just been painted with one coat as you can clearly see the green that was previously underneath. Pillows were awful and hard somehow. Chair in the...

'Perfect clean room and bathroom. 4 pillows per bed, extra blanket. best shower pressure I have ever had in a motel!! So close to hospital and mall and Portland. Very well run a real diamond in the ruff!! Will also be our choice for this part of Maine.'

'the man at the reception didn't like his job very much. I didn't care that he wore a furhat the whole day but the only word that came out of him during our stay was "room". No hello, nothing. Very uninterested. Bad PR...'

'It was just ok. Every time I walked in the lobby I felt like the floors were never clean. We had issues with our toilet, it was wobbly and didn’t flush half the time. The pillows are not comfortable at all, I usually don’t have issues with it but the bed and pillows weren’t comfortable. Breakfast was your typical breakfast. Also thought it was weird how they made their bed…. They had a bed skirt as a sheet….'

'I like the decor. The staff was very helpful. We were able to use the pool and bar at the adjacent Double Tree by Hilton. Kids loved the pool.'

'This is probably the best hotel in Freeport since it’s right in town and has a big parking lot. Parking is free but you must get a tag from the front desk. Another helpful amenity is bar which stays open til 11pm. Overall the room was basic but offered everything you need. I wish breakfast was included however they charge $20 for a breakfast buffet that most other chain hotels offer for free.'

'We were literally locked out of our room because the system was down. We missed our reservations for dinner and spent almost 2 hours along with other guests in the Lobby while someone tried to troubleshoot. It was awful. '
