Cottages in Bloomington

'There are a few important things about this hotel that you don’t find in the description or the reviews. First, this hotel is on the campus of IL State University. I was there on a weekend when college was not in session. I’m certain that if you are there during the time courses are in session, the traffic will be very busy. 'Our room was very clean, had a very comfortable bed, TV,a/c, microwave & frig all worked great! Breakfast was excellent. We will probably stay here again when in the area. Hotel overall was excellent for the price, even though there some renovations in progress! Highly recommend,'

'It was a great stay, and the staff were wonderful. However, my key card had to be reprogrammed several times, and on the second day of my four-day stay, I was woken up because they mistakenly thought my room was vacant. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.'

'The property seemed to be outdated from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised once we got inside. The place looks like the pictures online. When making the reservation, I requested a lower level and handicap accessible bathroom. When we checked in, we were placed on the 4th floor with a regular bathroom. 'The beds were horrible. Terrible bedding and horrendous mattress.'

'Parking lot is in need of refurbishment. The complementary water bottle in my room was opened and partially empty, the small bottle of lotion was empty, the back of the toilet had hair on it, the sink drained slowly and built up when running/brushing teeth. The bed was comfortable, however. The pool was out of service and we were not advised prior to check in. The staff was friendly.'
