'We had a wonderful stay at this 2-bedroom house! The home was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was great, friendly, and helpful, and the neighborhood was nice and peaceful. Everything was just as we hoped, and we felt right at home. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay here again!'

'The house was clean with lots of bedrooms. On a quiet cul de sac. The kitchen was not well equipped and everything was the most basic, from the sheets to the comforter to the furnishings.'

'When you rent a single family luxury home you expect to be the only ones at the premises. At this house, there were people in the basement, accompanied by 3 and sometimes 4 cars in the driveway. Rather unimaginable. How is anyone going to feel comfortable under those conditions. We left our reservation early. You can’t VRBO a “luxury property “ like that and expect people to like it. Additionally, there were quite a few ants on the kitchen counter tops. It would appear the occupants in the...

'We enjoyed our time spent at this cozy apartment. It was right in the heart of Mt. Vernon and surrounding area. The apartment was decorated so nice with all amenities (even coffee!) The shower and water pressure was amazing, especially after walking all day at George Washington’s homesite! We hope to be back again!'

'The property is exactly as described, which is to say perfect for my short trip. The queen bed is terrific, the sheets and blankets are excellent, there are plenty of towels, and the tea selection is out of this world.Top stay for me!Thanks, Sue.'

'We really enjoyed staying here! The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. It has a nice layout and well decorated with well thought of extras from the host (shampoo, laundry and tea). It is in a good location with a quick drive to downtown. You could probably walk but it was very hot during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!'

'Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC...

'We had 7 people. Fit us all comfortably. If you have a second car you need a street pass but understand the rules. We had the street pass but were confused and still ended up with a 30 ticket. But the location was so perfect - able to walk to the Mall (about 20 minutes) and a couple blocks to the Wharf with tons of options for food. Would stay here again if we come back to DC.'

'Nice & close to DC, that was good. Hard to sleep downstairs with people walking upstairs - very loud old floors. Drywall, trim and utility problems visible.'

'Lovely space. So delighted by the king size bed. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Easy access to Metro and access into the Capital. 5 stars, would stay here again. '
