'This was our second time staying at the Omni King Edward. Overall it’s a pleasant stay, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. When we arrived in the room the AC was broken, it was on constantly, pretty loud and it didn’t cool all that much. Based on the state of the room, it was clear someone had been trying to fix it but didn’t fix it in time. 'We originally booked a superior King Suite. Prior to our arrival we were upgraded to the Penthouse suite. This was a pleasant surprise. While the gesture was appreciated, the suite we were given was two floors with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We stayed for two nights and after the first night the stairs became more of a nuisance than a bonus as they were steep steps and a little slippery. We would have preferred one floor in the end. As we were not asked and just given this room...

'Slightly dated hotel. Good overall quality. There is a $30 additional (compulsory but hidden)fee to use the amenities to be paid at check-in. Why a 5* hotel with these prices needs to do this is truely puzzling…'

'We stayed in The Anndore House for the 8th time. And again we felt very welcome and at home! We were upgraded to a corner room. We really liked having extra seating space and a coffee machine. We will book at The Anndore House again in the spring!'
