'Brand new appartement, all looked great, new and clean. Very much above our expectations. The only thing we did not like were the limited options for food & beverages at the pool and the pool water was quite cold. Very nice and helpful staff everywhere! '

'A wonderful stay for our family of 4 in a two bedroom apartment. Upstairs the bedrooms and a full bath with shampoo, etc., and hairdryer, and downstairs a full living room and kitchen (with enough coffee to get us started :)). Two supermarkets and two restaurants right nearby and a bunch are about a 15-20 minute down the road. Nice to be out of San Pedro itself, which was crazy busy. Staff here was wonderful and helpful, and owners Peter and Michelle are kind, interesting, and really hands on....

'This place is not as advertised. Terrible wifi. Dilapidated exterior and surroundings. No beach access! Mosquito infestation m. I checked out the very next day and would have nit even stayed that night but was stranded. It’s a deserted island. Period! Don’t stay here!!!!!’nnnn'

'Our family stayed here and had a wonderful time. It's just as described, and Aileen, Randy, and their staff were all very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Our 4yo especially enjoyed spending lots of time in the pool! (Incidentally, we loved being able to enjoy the rooftop space, along with 2 patios off of our condo.) The property is very clean, well taken care of, and a wonderful place to stay while you explore the island. We also felt secure and appreciated being able to rent a cart from them...

'Had a last minute trip and found the Easy inn to have space. Not much to look at from outside, but drive into the secure parking lot and things get much better. The staff was friendly, efficient and pointed us in right direction for food. Room are just what one needs, while not pillow topped, my mattress was perfect. AC cranked and the shower was just what was needed after traveling. nosure what else is needed.'

'Our room was beautiful and Stephen was helpful. He had breakfast for us each morning. This is a nice place to go if you like a secluded vacation. We felt it was a bit secluded though. Nothing really in the surrounding area for hours by boat or car. The beach at the resort is nice and does have kayaks to borrow. There is one rustic beachfront bar/ restaurant. Not fancy, but will fulfill your needs. We were a little disappointed with all the dogs, lack of fresh drinking water and rule to not use...

'Rosie the Office Manager was very helpful with changing our time for the water taxi. Ashanti the bartender made the best dirty banana I have ever enjoyed. Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island. '

'We have been staying at Grand Colony for years. The reason we keep returning is the convenience of walking down the beach to the dive shop, having a full size kitchen and individual bedrooms for everyone. There are no amenities to speak of. No restaurant, no bar, no spa, the beach chairs have seen better days but so has the beach. The sea grass is nothing Grand Colony can help but it does make the ocean unswimable. 'I arrived early in the day, and Colin was very responsive and understanding of my situation allowing me to have a room immediately. The room was comfortable and clean. Later in the day, Colin came by to check if I needed anything. Since the nearby restaurants were closed, he personally made the drive to pick up food and deliver it to us. The next day, he even gave us a ride to the airport. His personalized attention meant a lot to me. Thank you to Colin and to the Bomboleo Inn! '
