'The property is lovely and the room was very comfortable, however, in my opinion, the hotel should invest in nicer towels and provide glassware, utensils, basic kitchen items for the suites. We have enjoyed there and hope that the management the towels etc as mentioned. They are terrible, to be honest. The food selection and coffee is great! thank you so much,'

'Beautiful ocean views, especially from higher floors. The staff was wonderful and they have a great restaurant and bar on the 11th floor with amazing views. There is a $45 parking fee per night, but parking is super expensive everywhere in LaJolla. There is also a $30 r sort fee daily but they give you a $30 daily food and beverage credit. I loved this hotel. Smallish, has character, older but rooms are nice and well kept. '

'We booked a king room but when we got there they immidiatly gave us a queen room. I said we did book a king room. She said i made a mistake and booked a queen room. I showed her my reservation that said king on it. She was very snippy and said there are no more king rooms. We pulled up the hotel web sit and the web site said they were advertising king rooms. No resolution even when asked for manager. Bad hotel'

The staff seemed very busy, but were still polite and helpful. 'Disappointed they would not turn the propane heaters on the patio. I asked staff and he said he didn’t even know they had them I showed him the two heaters and said we could not use them. '
