'The hotel is new. The room I stayed was very clean, quiet and spacious. The staff were very friendly. There is a big mall within 7-min walk. Getting a Grab ride to other places was very easy. I like the TV because it allows me to project my phone and laptop to it. The bed was comfortable.'

'Despite being a hotel that is quite old, we appreciate that the room was renovated to a modern look and we like the beddings and stuff. However the bathroom was a let down because sewage odour kept escaping through the floor traps. To cover the smell, the housekeeping use urinal mat, commonly used in public men's toilet urinals, as deodoriser, making not only the bathroom but the whole room (in fact the whole floor) to smell like public toilet.'

Zwembad bij hotel was leuk, ligt alleen in de schaduw maar met de warmte van Batam is dat niet heel naar. 'The room was really dirty, from Toilet,Window , wardrobe and the interior,, it worse than 1 star Hotel. The pool was full of Non-Hotel resident, heard from them they just be there for swimming leason, the pools water was dirty and no towel provided for hotel-Resident. The Lobby, there were no Aircon as well and the restaurant where we had breakfast the menu was limited and very hot as well, it seems the Aircon was not opened Lastly I felt no-safe, the lift can be access by anyone, no need card...

'It was my first time in this property. It was generally a good place to stay. Very well maintained and clean. The weekend crowd made the place super congested. The blasting music from nearby at 7am doesn't make a sleep in possible. A let down was the lack of bedding and so you get strictly only 1 pillow per person, which I found unusual.'
