'To my surprise this was the exact same cabin we stayed in a couple years ago. In fact I didn’t realize this when I booked my stay. The new log structure is really impressive we can’t wait to see the rest of the improvements. The only thing I could add is parking in front of the cabin kind of block other vehicles trying to squeeze through. I do believe in the summer we parked on the side of the cabin in the grass. Maybe you could make that a more permanent parking space and plow it in the winter...

'My husband, our pup and I enjoyed our getaway very much. The property is located in a very quiet, mostly secluded area (though you can see neighboring houses), surrounded by trees. The yard is very large, right on the river and offers ample seating and a spacious deck to enjoy the scenic view and immerse yourself in nature. The fireplace wasn’t working accordingly and the Owner accommodated us by allowing us to leave later than the usual checkout time to make up for the inconvenience immediate responses from the owner!!! 'Perfect October weekend! All four of us loved it - 5 if we include the dog! We enjoyed the firepit under incredible fall maple trees. The sauna was a fun touch, and the home itself was great. We played games, cooked and grilled, explored the local area, wandered down to the river a couple times, spotted more deer than we count, listened to the owls, carved pumpkins and just really had a great time.'
