'The newly renovated Abbey Court rooms are sparkling, lovely and incredibly quiet and peacefull. The one draw back is that there are quite a few small flights of steps all over the place. The dungeon bar has excellent food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is great. I did not try the library bar but the room is beautiful.. The building itself is spectatuclar.'

'Floors not clean. Washing machine full of dirty water. Bedding was adequate. Shower got barely warm. You get what you pay for. '

'All staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating regarding giving what to visit and booking taxis etc. The breakfast staff were always efficient and friendly setting up a great feel for the day.'

'Fabulous place very clean and friendly ideally situated. This is our 2nd time staying here I would highly recommend it and it's not overly expensive. Staff are great, Rob sent us details of how to get in also left tea coffee milk and biscuits definitely will be back next year. 5 star accommodation '
