'We had a wonderful stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort! The staff were very kind and accommodating — they even allowed us to check out late because our flight was delayed, which we truly appreciated. The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise overlooking the Nile river. Since the resort is located uphill, we had to take a tuktuk to go up and down to the village. The ride can be a bit bumpy and dusty, which some people might not enjoy, but it didn’t bother...

'For the money you pay you expect a cleaner and better hotel. Our room was spacious with good beds, but it wasn't clean. Especially the floor was dirty... also in the corridor, next to our door, was waste on the floor. The breakfast was ok. Bad price-quality ratio. '

'Wow…!!!!!! Absolutely fantastic, and a must!!! We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. Right from the start, the communication was excellent, including advice to make sure the taxi would make it all the way to the front door (which he did, despite being unsure).
