Pensions in Aswan

'The place is on Elephantine island, you can only get there by ferry. The cost is minimal around $ .70 for a one way. The island is way quieter than the mainland. Make sure you are expected upon arrival, signage is limited.'

'As you go to hotel you may wonder what have I gotten into. But relax, hotel is wonderful. People are great. Do not forget to take tour, and you may hold a baby crocodile.'

'Very beautiful and rustic organic farm on the Nile river. Rooms were comfortable, stay was very enjoyable.'

'Great hospitality, we were really charmed by that. Be aware that you'll live there like a "Nubian" so there is no wifi and just a sober room. But actually in this setting it feels just right. Verry quiet out there, beautifull view, and a nice village. '

'Absolutely loved it, one of the best experiences ever'

'Booked this property rater spontaneously and just wished for the best'

'Abdo made my stay in Aswan unforgettable! He provided a great breakfast every morning and even arranged my trips to Philae Temple, Abu Simbel as well as a transport to Luxor. Thank you very much!'

'Beautiful location with easy access to the ferry terminal. We were met by Gamal and brought across to the island on his boat. From the moment we met him Gamal went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. We learnt much from him about the Nubian culture and people and we have great respect for him. We would lovee to return again. The next day we hired Gamals Felucca and spent a wonderful day and night sailing the Nile. Breakfast was delicious and there are great...

'Beautiful setting with a lovely view of the Nile and surround areas south of the Aswan Low Dam (including the Pihlae Temple) from the terrace. The staff's hospitality, relaxed atmosphere, and quality breakfast make it a wonderful place to rest and explore the area.'
