Pensions in Ascot

'BEWARE, this property greatly lacks security! The listing does (minimally) state that there is no staff on site. Yet, My wife & I were given entry into the building without having completed the supposed mandatory online check-in, having only spoken to someone through the Ring doorbell camera. We found that the key lock box for our room has been improperly closed by the previous guest, with our room key literally falling out of the lock box when we entered the house. The room key was for...

'SCAMMED we felt totally scammed. If your thinking of Booking this place Please read all the poor reviews in relation to this property, they are all accurate. Its NOT A HOTEL, Its a house in what looks like council estate. Its a 4 bedroom house that this man let's out with a several Booking platforms with a listing that is totally inaccurate. Like many have said, pool and gym pictures do not exist at the property, they are in a leisure centre down the road. We booked a family room that was...

'The room was spacious and very clean. It had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated.'

'De locatie was prima om de 'chilterns' te ontdekken en het gezellige Henly-on-Thames was maar even verderop.'

'Lovely location looking onto the river very secure short walk to town I only stayed one night whilst attending a wedding I felt welcomed staff and members were friendly It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the river and Sunday church bells Nice to see croquet on the lawn Relaxed public areas lovely and bright'

'Was clean and very very handy for T5. Price was good too.'

'Sehr schöne Unterkunft, netter Host, wir konnten auch den Garten mitbenutzen - kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!'

'Had a lovely stay Very helpful staff and room beautifully clean. Very near to shop and not too far from town will stay again happily.'

'First, the good: the staff was extremely helpful. Due to some internet issues and a delayed flight, completing the booking proved extremely difficult, but the staff was extremely patient, understanding and accommodating. Another plus is its proximity to Heathrow, I was able to get there in a few short minutes. Now, the not-so-good: the room did not look as advertised. It was sorely in need of updating. The bed was comfortable enough and warm but small. While I appreciated the private bathroom,...

'Nice, old classy place, well kept with up to date furniture and a mini frig stocked with free snacks and drinks, but the advertised free self-parking is only in the street, which fills up quickly. They have a small front yard where a few vehicles can park after checking in for a cost of ten (10) British pounds.'
