Lodges in South East England

'OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. 'Broken windows- it was up the whole time, the room faces the main road with heavy traffic, therefore sleep was impossible. Communication was poor, inadequate instructions to get into the bldg. I was only given the code to the room, not the bldg. Manager emailed me a photo copy of the emailed instructions after I asked her. I asked her multiple times to forward me the original email since I didn’t receive it, she was unable to provide. The odd request was she asked me to email my concerns to her...

'De Lodge viel erg tegen. Het was oud en niet comfortabel. Douchen moest in bad onder een schuin plafond waardoor je niet kon staan. Het eten in het restaurant was goed. Zowel ontbijt als diner. Personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.'
