'room needs a makeover and was very small, no room to walk or stand... and poor ventilation. hallway extremely hot. nice atmosfere though and good beer and food'

'Lovely character hotel in very peaceful surroundings. The staff were just lovely , friendly and chatty . Our room was in a good location and it was easy to get to the restaurant , bar and spa . The room was a good size and the towels were nice and soft, the hot water plentiful too. The only slight dent in the room was the condition of some of the fixtures and fittings . The carpet had quite a few stains on it , the shower settings were missing parts and the towel radiator missing coatings ....

'2 dining options in the evening, the library or the main dining room, great menu choices, and friendly staff throughout the building. The rooms are really cool and very inviting, plenty of parking on site and the breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice.'

'Great first stay at the Joiners Arms. We took our dog and they had a bed, ball, bowls and treats in our room. Sunday lunch was amazing as ever, service prompt, extra gravy not a problem. Couldn't fault breakfast, really impressive and the check-in/check-out was easy. Would highly recommend.'
