Herbergen in Amersham

'Nothing too special, but the rooms are good size and in good condition. Friendly staff. Food was above expectation and better than the usual hotel fare. '

'Great pub, handy located, great service, parking on the street close by very affordable as long as you are away with the car during the day (paid is 0800 till 20:00) so if you come in after 19:00 and leave around 0900 you pay 2 pound for the parking'

'The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful. Evening meal was superb. If we are in Harpenden again we will definitely stay here again.'

'Hotel, pub and restaurant on a beatiful location near the Thames. Old cottage so your room has a low ceiling with cracking floors which makes it even more romantic. Kind personnel and lovely breakfast. Pub and restuarant are closed around 11 p.m. '

'Locatie is goed, dat is t enige positieve'

'Lovely location and staff very friendly and helpful'

'Beautiful and quiet room, well appointed. The front desk people, a man on check in and a lady on check out, were not very friendly or helpful. Restaurant was delightful. The hotel is small, behind the restaurant/pub with the same entrance. It was much further to the open entrance to Kew than I had expected.'

'Well worth a visit for good food and nice staff'

'Zeer knusse kamers, zalig bed, leuke bar en restaurant, alleen jammer dat het ontbijt enkel op de kamer kan ( geen english breakfast )'

'Heel sfeervol hotel met heerlijke bedden!'

'Nice seeminly recently updated restaurant. Beds a not super comfy and missing a light at the headboard of the bed for reading. 10 minute walk to Underground, lot of take out / oriental easy dining places nearby. Good for solo travelling but i do not think i Will be visiting this again.'
