« Nice and clean place to stay, everything worked well - looks very new. Only issue was WiFi was spotty or was shared with other cabin. We could not get on sometimes and we have Verizon Cell phones and no coverage there - it’s a wooded lot. Not a big deal for us, could be for other families. »

« The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a most comfortable stay. We didn't spend any time around a fire outside but the set up out there was amazing; hanging lights and even solar tiki torches!! We'd defnitely stay here again :) »

« The cabin was on a small lake with a beautiful clubhouse and outdoor area. It had many vintage aspects to the cabin such as cozy windows and arched doors. The bathroom upgrade was very nice. It was calm and peaceful. »

« Love the fact it was a duplex with two kitchens. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Need some TLC of minor fixes. We had a great time using this as base camp! »

« Our family of 5 plus our dog had a great stay at Mud Creek. Brandon was very communicative before and during the stay, and even had a bug zapper dropped off when we found out the one at the house wasn't working. Our kids loved fishing off the pier and taking the kayaks out and doing a little exploring. All of the amenities were included, literally the only thing we could have used that wasn't there was a pitcher for juice and long-handled lighter for the fire pit. Otherwise the place was great! »

« We e joyed and appreciated everything about this property! Clean, comfortable, all the necessities in a quite and pretty setting! We could not paddle the Sturgeon river as planned due to extensive rain, but all else was fantastic! p.s., the bed is wonderful! »

« This place was perfect for our needs of having a dog-friendly place to stay between our trips to Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island—great location (~12 minute drive to Mackinaw), comfortable amenities, and quiet. Would love to come back and explore more of the area! »

« This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. »

« It was ok. For starters, there is not heat. There is no fireplace, even though it states there is one. There is an electric, space heater on the wall Difficult to find the place, as there is no address sign, and the road is very dark. Interior is less than finished. The bathroom door isn’t tall enough for the opening, and there is a gap at the top when it’s closed. One bedroom doesn’t have a doorknob. Privacy is lacking, overall. « It was a great location - right on the water. The cabin was rustic. Shower and toilet were less than I hoped for. Lock on front door was hard to lock from inside. And, there was no secure lock on back door. »
