Woonboten in Winkelcentrum Alamo Plaza

'Nice hotel at the right location of San Antonio. Just a few minutes from the river walk and a few steps from the Alamo. Nice and clean rooms. Breakfast is good if you want breakfast burritos. The bar (all say happy hour) was a bit boring. Staff was friendly. The valet was pretty expensive, but that's the same at all hotels.'

'Groundfloor looks nice, but rooms are old and lifts are very small. No diner available, this can be bought in adjacent restaurant with the same name. We where told it has no affiliation with the hotel. Rooms are big but outdated and bathroom was also out of date and uncomfortable.'

'The property is ran by Placemakr. It’s an old building with poorly installed upgrades. Old windows don’t allow proper seals, can hear everything, loud downtown. Floors were not clean, debris and hair all over. House keeping does not come on daily basis so I guess you can spend your vacation washing your towels. (Found towels just thrown in the elevator) I had to hook up my own internet in my room. I won’t be staying here again, for the price I expected more.'

'Great hotel that was/is close to everything. My only wish was that the bar stayed open longer but other than that prepare to have a great stay.'

'This location was wonderful, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The only downfall is it's in downtown where people are partying and playing loud music which we could hear. The people at the front desk and the lady in the breakfast area were great, very friendly and helpful. However it seemed like the lady the 2nd day at the front desk was not happy about being there, and didn't like to use words. The manager said she would take care of it.'

'Everything was great from the entrence to the check out all staff are nice. view is excellent would definitely come here again everything is so walkable.'
