'We are a Dutch couple who stayed in the gite of Ken and his wife for a week. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need and the hosts are extremely hospitable, ranging from lending us equipment for our hikes, to giving us the best hiking tips and information, additional to all the tourist information that was already in the house upon arrival. 'The location of this space was gold. A quiet little pocket just a very short stroll from old town and all its charm. I usually prefer a home with a proper space to sit outside with a cup of coffee or glass of wine, but my friend and I took to sitting on the front steps, which will long be remembered as a favorite part of our time. The neighborhood cat befriended us - and ‘protected’ us from additional cats, who tried to encroach on our territory and we even got to chat with our neighbors a bit....
