Our home sits on a spacious 25 acres with one of the most spectacular views in all of Nelson County!

KITCHEN/LIVING SPACE:
The kitchen features all new appliances, baking dishes, new pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and knife set. We also have a coffee station with Keurig stocked with k-cups. Open to the kitchen is the TV and couch area. Off the TV room is a relaxing room with couch, reclining swivel chairs and a desk with chair. The ground level also features its own kitchenette along with a couch and TV.

BEDROOMS:
The home has four bedrooms, each with one bed. Our second floor master suite features a king-size bed, chaise lounge, chair and bench, walk-in tile shower, tub and private balcony. Two additional guest bedrooms are also located upstairs, one with a king-size bed and another with a queen-size bed with memory foam mattresses. Main bath upstairs also features a double vanity. Ground level features a queen-size bed with bathroom.

OUTDOOR SPACE:
The main level deck wraps around the back of house where you can grill with a view. Screen porch is located between kitchen and deck area, with ample seating. The ground floor deck features a hot tub with seating for 6, with an array of lighting options, a waterfall feature and 45 therapy jets.

We have a campfire area stocked with wood located down from the house with chairs and a picnic table, which offers a great spot for sunset and stargazing views.

GREAT LOCATION:
Enjoy the many local vineyards and breweries located nearby and minutes away off Rt. 151.

2 miles to Cardinal Point Winery, 5 miles to Veritas Vineyard and Blue Mountain Brewery, and 10 to Bold Rock and Devil's Backbone breweries.

30 minutes to UVA and Wintergreen

You'll be able to use the entire home, including use of our washer and dryer in main floor bathroom if needed. You will not have access to an owner's closet or two locked basement closets.

Here your neighbors are the deer, squirrels, and turkeys (if you're lucky to see them :). No other homes nearby in sight. However, please be mindful of quiet hours after 10pm, and of walkers as you make your way on our winding mountain road.

We designed our home for no more than eight guests. There are many other places in the area that can accommodate more than eight guests, but unfortunately our home is not one of them.

*Please no smoking of any kind in the house*

In winter months we strongly encourage guests to have 4WD/AWD. Our gravel driveway is about 300 yards long and steep in a couple spots which may be challenging to navigate in times of inclement winter weather.

We do not have satellite or cable TV. Our two TV's are 'Smart' and you can stream through various platforms, but we do not have cable service. There are no TV's located in bedrooms.

A crib is set up in an upstairs bedroom (the one with a queen bed) if traveling with an infant or toddler.

Finally, be aware that our home is in the mountains, and you may encounter lady bugs and stink bugs throughout your stay (our home sometimes seems to be a beacon for them :( We do our best to keep them away, but they can be common in the fall/overwintering seasons. We also do our best to keep mice away, but bugs, bees, and little creatures all merrily live on our mountain too.
Children using hot tub must be supervised by an adult.
