« The views are great However Two of the three rooms had stuffed drains in the bathrooms that caused flooding on the floor. The staff left the key for one of rooms that they had to rearrange to seperate beds upon arrival locked in another room causing the teens to have to wait along time To get into their room. The service for towels and room arrangements was slow And the bathrooms need maintenance and updates »

« My experience was slightly affected by the fact that I stayed in low season, and at a time when there was political instability along the border with DRC nearby. Hence I was the only guest for most of my time at the hotel which generated a slightly odd feeling. However, the suite I was allocated to was absolutely beautiful, incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. « I cant express how amazing this property is! This resort is absolutely beautiful!! The interior decor of the hotel is designed perfectly. The views outside the property of the Congo and Lake Kivu is a showstopper! The food was so delicious and fulfilling. The service from staff was top notch! I highly recommend a stay at this property, it was really amazing! »

« Beautiful view, comfortable accomodations, clean, hot water and well situated in Kibuye. It’s a bit hard to find as Google maps redirects us to broken down roads and unusable ones, so call the place for directions, once Google gets the right road, it will direct you properly. There is a 5 minutes part to the road that is harder to naviguate but I had a CRV and drove very slowly and all was fine. You can get cheap moto taxis to go to town. « Dian Fossey Hotep is one of the more unique places I’ve stayed due to the artwork around the facility. Paintings and statues depicting Rwandan traditional culture and wildlife adorn the grounds and hotel. The staff are very kind and helpful. »

« The staff was exceptionally amazing. So nice, helpful and always wanted to make sure we were happy. They organize for us days trips with drivers and it was really worth it. The location was great just on Lac Kivu. It was a great place to relax and go for walks in the area. The food offered was also really good »

« Hotel tres bien situe avec beau jardin mais dans un etat deplorable. Chambres vieillotes, pas d’insonorisation, pas de prises fonctionnels pour recharger appareils électroniques, peu ou pas de wifi dans les chambres, et personnel peu à l’écoute. »
