'The environment and distance to several "touristic" activities made it a sweet spot. The train leaves Engelberg to Lutern every hour (13:02 / 14:02 etc..) Going up by cablecar to Titlis was awesome (Go early 8 O'clock) to beat the busses filled with tourists (lol). Everything is to an extend automated so you dont see much of the staffmembers. 'Vriendelijke en hulpvaardige gastheer. Sober logement maar netjes en alle basisvoorzieningen zijn er. Pand misschien aan opfrissing toe (likje verf). Supermooi uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Tip: verduisterende gordijnen.'

'Sauber, freundlich, bequem. Das Gemeinschaftsbad ist Geschmackssache, aber ich habe damit kein Problem gehabt. Ich habe hier sehr gut geschlafen und die Einrichtung ist sehr sauber. Nachts war es auch sehr ruhig und am Morgen habe ich allein die Kaffeemaschine gehört. Empfang war auch sehr angenehm und es gab keine Probleme. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.'

'We had an absolutely magical stay. Loved reading in the morning, sledding in the afternoon, and exploring the village of Gimmelwald and Murren. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and dinners in the pension as well as nightly beer and hot chocolate.'

'The family at this Hotel are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the train. I was there in the summer so it was very quiet. This suited me but it would be busy in the winter.'
