'We had a very nice stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It was also quiet, just how we like it.'

'This was the perfect spot for us to stay with friends to go boating at Lake Livingston. Spacious and very clean bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom with lots of appliances, and extra treats and snacks from the hosts. Plenty of room to pull the boat in. Very communicative and kind hosts. We will stay here again!'

'Beautiful and historic house from pre civil war and the electricity, plumbing,etc. work great. Very comfortable and great feel of the history of the period with the furniture,curtains and all appointments. Very modern and clean kitchen and bathrooms. Really enjoyed the visit.'

'Wij hebben twee dagen Maple Creek geboekt om op adem te komen na de vlucht vanuit Nederland en als uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Houston. Kamer die wij hadden was super (honeymoon). Als uitvalsbasis voor Houston zou ik Maple creek niet meer kiezen. Afstand is vrij groot. Kom je voor je rust dan is dit verblijf prima. Persoonlijk vind ik het ontbijt mager.'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'Beautiful and well kept historic home! The owner and chef were extremely courteous and welcoming...we couldn’t have felt more welcome! The room and common areas were clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I only regret that we couldn’t finish the generous portions. Would definitely reccomend!'
