'The “cottage” was definitely not as advertised. It was rated well, which is very deceiving. It was dirty, dilapidated and the shower was something out of a horror movie. Mold had taken over. Expedia and VRBO should take a good hard look at how they vet their listed properties. But that was the good part. Approximately 11 pm, there was a knock at the front door. There were 3 gangbangers standing there expecting us to let them in. I yelled “occupied” out the door, they mumbled something and left....

'Honest review - check in process was easy - property manager was responsive - House was adequate for our needs with pretty nice beds working shower and was fairly clean place nothing of great concern for a group of buddies on a hunting trip…but our wives would probably have been upset. Sadly it’s missing many simple items that leave the experience incomplete - I literally had to go buy skillets and baking pans and utensils so we could use the full kitchen and make food in/on the stovetop and...

'The house was very nice and in a great location for us. We came to do some hiking and the home was in a quiet neighborhood and located near the trailheads. We were able to walk to several restaurants in the evening which was quite nice. The home was clean and comfortable. '
