Woonboten in Zuidoost Cornwall

'Air conditioning in the room did not work Bit poor as we were in a mini heatwave. Could not use our room from 3pm as it was only just starting to be deep cleaned after having a dog in the room. On the evening we had to wait for two hours for food. Not told that when we ordered. The place was just short staffed and it showed. My partner was told by the manager that our meals would be compensated due to really poor service and presentation. That hasn't happened. The next morning was better....

'The house is spotlessly clean and it’s very well laid out , from arriving and getting key ( a lovely lady answered the bell and advised how to get the key ) . You get in as is very clean , it has 4 double rooms and one shared shower/toilet , very impressive with the lay out . I would 100% recommend and book again'

'Lovely ‘simple self-catering’ in the heart of Dartmoor. Great set of appliances to have a nice coffee and brekky in bed! Coffee and non-dairy milk included - thank you Terry :) we really enjoyed our stay and had a super sleep. The hot tub looked inviting but the weather was just a bit too miserable for us to venture out there. Next time!'

'The staff are amazing. Parking is free on the road beside the pub. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Nice pub with great locals. Ideally placed for HMS Raleigh functions. '

'We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lindsay, the owner is a lovely fellow and you could just stop and talk...

'Such a gem of a place, tucked in overlooking the sea, I couldn't have been happier with my stay. Staff are lovely, food was delicious, an extremely relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend the Wilcove Inn'
