'I stayed here 3 years ago and was not told the pool would be under construction until check in. The owner was there and explained he was building a new pool. So here it was 2026, and I thought let’s try again. BIG MISTAKE. Received a WhatsApp message day of check in while I was driving with my family of 5 that the pool is “under construction”. Understand there is not much else to do with no pool. We had an excursion the next day. And how I wish they would warn people that for over 15 miles...

'I love the location. Secluded. The staff was available 24/7. The A/C is very cold. Rooms are big and comfortable. I will definitely return next time i am in Barahona!'

'Absolutely terrible experience. Every single service was awful from beginning to end. The management treated us with complete disrespect and showed no interest in resolving any issue. We were charged extra fees that were never disclosed and ended up paying more than the amount originally agreed for the reservation, which felt dishonest and completely unacceptable. The food was terrible, and to make matters worse, there were times without proper water service even for basic needs like showering....
