'Very nice grounds. Staff was friendly and nice at check in. Room was clean and large. A bit too much religious paraphernalia. Parking lot should be paved. No sidewalks. '

'From start to finish my interactions about this stay—and the stay itself—was top-tier. The location was perfect to walk into town, the hospitality and kindness of the host Derek was appreciated, the options for food and drinks on the main floor were plentiful, and my room/bathroom was clean/comfortable/safe/well-stocked. I’m already trying to figure out how to get back up to Glenwood Springs and stay here again!'

'Not recommended to stay here during summer months. The only airflow is from having windows open but there aren’t any screens on them so bugs come in. The house has lots of character but feels unattended to, lots of spider webs and spiders and the bathroom had hair all over the ground and shower. There was also an open area in the bathroom wall which allowed clear visibility from the upstairs looking down into the bathroom (shower entrance) area. That was very uncomfortable and we recommended...

'We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. From beginning to end, the communication was excellent. Our food preferences were asked for, and our instructions for getting there were clearly defined. The breakfast was superb both days, and our chef shared local information and what we might like to see for that day. All the staff were so nice, and the people staying there at the same time as us were equally lovely.'

'Long time traveler here, this is the BEST place to stay if you are in Mancos area or visiting Mesa verde NP. The home is so clean and the hosts are the nicest people you will ever meet. Also, their breakfast is absolutely delicious and the conversations around the breakfast table were just as lovely! I would give them 15 out of 10 if I could. Highly recommended!'
