Agriturismos in Zarza la Mayor

'Cosy, warm friendly family hotel. Exentric interior and great breakfast buffet. Monfortinho is great outside the winter i guess, in december its pretty much deserted, but wandering in nature here is great, and its nice and quit. This hotel i would recommend to anyone in any season. '

'A great little rustic spot in the heart of rural Portugal! Owners take pride in their establishment and absolutely love, entertaining, and having guests. Very authentic Portuguese experience. This is a great location to explore the local castle & ruins and then a short drive to Monsanto 🏰'

'A casa é muito linda, bem equipada e muito confortável! Numa localização muito boa. Penha Garcia é uma aldeia muito bonita e perto de outras, como Monsanto. Sandra foi muito atenciosa e nos recebeu muito bem. Adoramos nossa estadia, só gostaríamos de ter ficado mais. Recomendamos muito!'

'This hotel was great! While the immediate neighborhood is a little worse for wear in some ways, don’t let that put you off. This is a really nice hotel in a really nice little town. If you have time, walk across the stone arched bridge and enjoy the beautiful park on the other side. There are food stores, restaurants and everything you need - and the hotel it itself was great.'

'The accommodation met our expectations, being relatively close to the historic villages, although access to Monsanto village was difficult due to the type of road. We noticed some irregularities, such as the automated AC being difficult to adjust and having some malfunctions (we ended up switching it off at the power station to avoid problems). Breakfast is served in the house itself with fresh bread left at the door; however, all other food items could be better served (they are already in the...

'We stayed at Casa do Cedro for two nights. The accommodation was excellent, breakfast was excellent and the views and swimming pool are breathtaking. Lots of free parking on the street. We were close to Monsanto by car which was our reason to visit the area. The town is quiet, in fact you don’t see people around. The only thing to remember is that depending on your travel date there may only be few options for lunch or dinner in the area.'

'Eind september was het stadje uitgestorven.'

'Great hotel, superb kitchen and facilities. The design and all decoration of the facilities is done to a high standard while respecting the old oil mill. The swimming pool and gardens are well looked after. Our room was amazing, huge and comfortable bed and great service. Only inconvenience it does not allow to flush toilet paper and there is just an ordinary bin to dispose of toilet tissue. Individual plastic bags and regular room service to change them should be in place. Also, the hotel is...

'Pros: A piscina é fantástica. O local e maravilhoso Cons: Acabou rápido'

'Staff was wonderful property was beautiful. The location was far from anything but very cool. The only issue was getting to a restaurant at night. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.'
