'Very good check-in. Staff were helpful with directions and a map of the area. They really tried to make us feel welcome, and succeeded. Quaint little room was a lot of fun and all amenities were thoughtful (umbrellas provided in the room for example) and comfy. Breakfast was reasonably priced and had lots of good choices. Surprisingly quiet at night - they had a patio nearby but we didn't hear a thing from it and enjoyed restful sleep. A great place and we were glad we stayed there.'

'Stayed here on business and ticket all the right boxes. The room was a bit warm though, despite that the heat had dropped off these last few days. Nice bar area and nice selection of ales. The restaurant was in a real pretty setting. Easy parking in the vicinity of the hotel and they even had parking spaces in front of the rooms which are at the back of the property. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. '

'I really liked the convenience of this property. Just 2 small gripes. There was no hairdryer there and although it had coffee and tea making facilities, there was no teaspoon. As I do not carry one and there was no staff to ask for one, this was disappointing. Otherwise good.'
