Cottages in Wood Islands

'This cottage was perfect to enjoy and explore the east (and north/south) sides of PEI. Freshly painted and well-maintained, it had a definite beachy feel. The tap water tasted great and the shower had lots of water pressure. The bbq and electric fireplace made it a pleasant place to cook and relax after a day of sightseeing. Once the owners add wifi/tv services, it will be even better, although we did watch several of the supplied DVD movies on the flat screen smart tv. Our cell phone data...

'Felt very much like home as opposed to a rental. The views where amazing. The host Bill, and Cathy and Brian made us feel like we where friends not just another customer highly recommend for a nova scotia stay. If you want a great relaxing vacation its a great spot..'

'My wife and I came here to stay for our honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful. Every time we turned around we noticed new, sweet details, and the hosts were incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and kind. We will be staying there again! If you’re a fan of house plants, you’ll be in heaven!'

'Cottage was very clean and comfortable. When we weren't out exploring the island, we enjoyed the peace and quiet on the back porch with the view of the sea. Thank you,Tammy, for the local goodies. They were a treat. My only suggestion would be to have written instructions at the house with the Wi-Fi password. We struggled to find it, and without CP service outside the US, we had no way to contact anyone to answer our questions.'

'This location on PEI is perfect. Close to coves and beaches and light houses. Charlottetown is only 40 minutes away. Loved exploring this part of the island. It is a sweet accommodation-- the kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to cook great meals - a plus in the off season when most restaurants are closed. The beds are comfy, the hot water endless. It is so quiet, being set back from the street. A great place to unwind. No hesitation in saying this is a great place to stay'

'We enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of PEI. We selected The Cottage at Mink Basin because it was close to a wedding we were attending. The beaches, lighthouses, and seafood were perfect. It was a wonderful vacation for us. The cottage was perfect - cosy, comfortable, and quiet. The location is great for sightseeing the eastern side of the island.'

'We had an amazing stay at the cottage - Donna and Marty put in extra effort to ensure it was comfortable to stay with children. The cottage was spotless and organized and so close to the beach. Would highly recommend for a family vacation on the island! '

'Very nice clean cottage. Well stocked kitchen. Nice location - was great being close to big grocery stores so that I didn’t have to bring all the food with me. The heat pump kept us nice and cool and the beds were very comfy. Was great having two bathrooms each with showers. The only down side was that there wasn’t much in the way of comfortable seating - one small couch and a rocking chair (and 4 wooden dining chairs) for 6 of us. All in all we had a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave!'
