'Room wasn't very fresh bit of a smell and the food prices was extortionate for a pub and very small portions '

'Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. '

'After meeting our friends and spending an evening in Cambridge we returned to the crown and punchbowl for a night cap before bed and and found the bar was shut up and all staff had gone home. It was 10.45pm. So our evening ended quite abruptly. Our room which was on the first floor, was a little on the small side, with only a skyline window, and unfortunately the blind didn't keep the light out, so it was very bright at 5am. 'A very good location, opposite the King's Lynn Minster, at the end of the High Street, and close to the riverside. The suite was very large and well equipped. Clean and comfortable.'

'Nice place to stay for a couple of days. Friendly hosts. The food is said to be very good, but we didt get the change to experience it ourselves. We took the guided bus to Cambridge, leaving the car at the nearby P+R. In the 2nd- front- room the traffic noise was quite loud although there were not that many cars passing at night.'

'Would have been perfect but the air con wasn't working and we had no hot water in the morning either due to a boiler issue.'
