'It was good just the stairs and it had 1 tv but was a nice place '

'We didn’t use the house for an event. Just a family get a way and this house has plenty of room for our multi generational family of 13. Lots of room and character. Was nice to gather together in the large dining room or on the front porch and watch the fishing boats, yachts and hunting osprey go by. '

'The stay was beautiful. We arrived at the house and searched entire place to decide who would sleep where. We didn't get our the address until the day before we arrived. When I stay at a hotel, I get my room number right away. After the first day, I notified the host of the kitchen window, it was still broken the day we left. Notified the host about the stove and it was still dirty. Other than those things it was a pleasant place to stay. I would tell my friends about it. '

'Owners very responsive. I didn’t see message with check-out process (garbage etc) until after I left so I would suggest including with listing or providing upon check-in. Place was very clean! Easy on street parking. Only two towels though, for two females for two days. Not a huge deal but would have liked one or two more. '

'Convenient location to upstate snd downtown NYC. All the rooms were good size. Appreciate the welcoming outside space both out front and in the back area. Plan to come back later this year.'

'Great location. Close to train, major highways, restaurants, grocery, etc. Very clean and updated. Easy check-in and out. Although you are in an apartment above hosts, its very private and quiet. Was worried about parking on the street, but was not a problem at all, had spot right in front of house. Very quiet neighborhood at the end of a side street. '

'We thought we rented the entire property, but was half of it. expect a lot of stairs. No bath tubs but two showers. some door knobs and locks need maintenance, but overall nice clean rooms.'

'This room was listed accurately and has amazing aesthetics. The host was super communicative and attentive and did his best to help me navigate the sidewalk improvements that were being made on the day of my arrival. My one suggestion would be to provide a kureg or similar basic coffee set up in the room for guests. It was my first time to visit Yonkers and there wasn’t a lot of coffee shops there. Thanks for delivering a quality experience, I would stay here again.'

'Large comfortable home in great location with multiple views of the Hudson. Our family had a pleasant stay and would definitely return to Castle in the Sky.'

'This place is much more spacious than it looks in the pictures. When you walk through the front door, you are immediately greeted with an amazing view of the Hudson River. The sunrise over the river is beautiful. We easily went back and forth over the bridge to Sleepy Hollow and there are great restaurants right near the house. Would definitely stay here again.'

'Definitely a 5-star stay! I just wish we had discovered this place earlier—these past four years while our daughter was at Fordham University, we stayed at some pretty questionable spots. Had we known about this place, this would have been our go-to every single time! Hosts were the best! Nice, beautiful and quiet neighborhood! And plenty of parking on the street! We absolutely loved it!!'

'The property itself was very beautiful and well kept. The only disappointment was not being able to use the washer and dryer. For the price of the stay I really feel that a washer and dryer should be made available to their guest whether there were laundromats close by or not.'
