'Perfect place to stay to explore the Lake District. The breakfast was a great start to the day and always served quickly with great service. Also access to the health club was a real benefit as that had great facilities. '

'Got a last minute deal and was then upgraded. Very comfy bed, quiet room wifi worked well , refurbished shower hot and strong. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious . Minimal staff tried hard and very friendly. '

'A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. We would highly recommend a stay here!! The Hollands!! '
