In deze kamer wel een oud springveren matras en wiebelig bed. uitstekend restaurant, prima service en ruim assortiment bier aan de bar. Top verblijf in de buurt van het Lakedistrict. binnenplaats met ruime parkeer gelegenheid ook voor de motor.(Wifi kan beter, slecht ontvangst in de kamer)'

'Amazing find. A quaint hotel in an amazing location. Great service. The bird life & Red Squirrels visible from my bedroom window was incredible. A must for wildlife watchers. Walkers would love it as well as there’s literally a path in to the hills at the gate. Do the steam railway trip. You can hear the trains as the pass 5 minutes walk across the valley. Great hosts, breakfasts were perfect. I’ll be back. '

'We had a lovely stay at Woodlands Country House. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a great base to explore the wonderful Lake District and surrounds. Daryl and Naomi are great hosts. Daryl's food is amazing. We shall miss his great breakfasts. We were very sad to leave Woodlands. Would definitely stay there again. '

'Link House is a welcoming beautifully located place to stay. Peter and Katie have created a warm and attentive atmosphere. They have an eye for detail and excel in hosting. The whole house was wonderfully clean, tastefully decorated and comfy. Breakfasts were lovely too! We definitely recommend a stay at Link House if heading to the Keswick area. '

'Zeer verzorgde B&B. Aardige mensen, mooie kamers, heerlijk ontbijt. Schoon, persoonlijk en fris. Klein eigen tuintje. Kregen mooi wandelkaartje mee om via short cut coast to coast weer op te pakken. Dat de B&B wat van de route afligt is enige minpuntje. Maar de B&B zelf en de hartelijke ontvangst maken alles goed!'
