'The outside of the building looks terrible. Abandonbed. I thought my husband was joking when he said that was it. But the inside was completely redone and surprisingly modern and clean. Communication was terrible, but thank goodness the couple who cleans was there and they were a huge help, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to get our access code. '

'Good location, although not near the reception. It has views on Kirkjufell, and is close to the supermarket and pizzeria. On top of this affordable with a private bathroom and clean. Room is small though, the double bed also, about 140cm wide. Our room also had a very squeeky bed. The kitchen area is huge and clean, enough place to cook with enough seating and a tv. No tv on the rooms by the way. All in all a good price to quality ratio.'

'The location is very walkable. Just a few blocks from the Shore Walk and easy to get to major shops and restaurants, I found this hostel very conveniently located. I was glad to have the fast elevator with my heavy bag, and also have the ability to leave my luggage while I explored the city until I could check in. The privacy screen on my bed was great to have, especially as I was overwhelmed and exhausted, but yes, there's a lack of airflow with it down, unfortunately. Check out was the best--...
