It's obvious whoever designed it has been a backpacker themselves as small things like free lockers (if you have a padlock (you can rent on if you don't, but who doesn't have a couple on their zippers on their bags?) are located outside of the dorm rooms. 'This is perfect for one night or a couple nights. Was clean, had everything we needed. Didn’t see any staff but we had excellent instructions so was no problem. The room itself is quite small but was perfect for one night. Would absolutely stay here again '

'Good location, although not near the reception. It has views on Kirkjufell, and is close to the supermarket and pizzeria. On top of this affordable with a private bathroom and clean. Room is small though, the double bed also, about 140cm wide. Our room also had a very squeeky bed. The kitchen area is huge and clean, enough place to cook with enough seating and a tv. No tv on the rooms by the way. All in all a good price to quality ratio.'

'The hostel is in the center and during the weekend there's free parking in front of the building, on weekdays you can park free close to the hostel. The hostel looks really good, it has a warm industrial look, I loved it. There is a kitchen where you can cook but they also have a bar / restaurant where you can have a drink or have lunch or diner. 'Het gebouw is een oud gezondheidscentrum, maar door de hippe inrichting, wandschilderingen, het kleurenschema en de gezellige eetzaal/het restaurant heb je dat niet in de gaten. We voelden ons meteen heel welkom en op ons gemak. Het hostel is behoorlijk groot en er zouden wel meer douches en wc's bij kunnen, maar wij waren vroeg op en hadden daardoor alle tijd. De hygiëne in de badkamer zou wat beter kunnen, maar dat is waarschijnlijk een gevolg van het bovenstaande: te weinig badfaciliteiten...
