The owners thought of everything... we were able to cook a few nights on the grill and the location was close to the lakes, but far enough for quiet "in the woods" nights! Super clean and the welcome basket was very thoughtful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend for couples or families! A besutiful property! Thanks again for your hospitality! »

« The cabin was perfect and the property is absolutely beautiful. We had such a relaxing visit—it was the perfect getaway. It was incredibly convenient to hop in the Can-Am and head straight to the Little Manistee. Our hosts were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. « Grandparents, Kids and grandkids had a wonderful stay. Plenty of towels, nice sleeping accommodations, well supplied kitchen, great porch, all contributed to making this a memorable week for our family. All though this 85-year-old didn't go to the beach (104 steps down and back) the younger ones went at least daily. The view of Lake Michigan from the platform at the top and porch were the biggest hit for me. Highly recommended. Thanks. »

« Nice property which was in reasonable walking distance from the pool. Perfect for kids who can sleep on their own in the loft area while the parents are downstairs. The only thing I would say is although AC is listed for this property, it is a window unit for the upstairs loft and not for the rest of the place (assuming it does not cool the entire place). The temps were perfect while we were there so we never needed it but they were approaching high 80s low 90s later in the week. Would...

« Very nice home on the water in a quiet neighborhood. Great place to relax and good centralized location for excursions to Traverse city, dunes and other local areas. Check-in process was simple and good wifi access. Kitchen was well equipped with thoughtful welcome items. Great porches/decks surrounding property with a gas grill to cook out. Only drawback was we did not see a place to rent boats or jetskies on lake. I would definitely recommend this property without hesitation. »

« The house is adorable- really. Every last detail is Insta worthy for sure. It’s about 1/2 mile to Bear Lake and not really walkable as it’s a modestly busy highway, but it’s a quick drive and easy access to the various sights of the area. There was a fair amount of construction going on at the adjacent property during our stay, but we were gone most of the day so no issue really. « Great cottage on a beautiful lake! Fishing was pretty good and the lake has clear water and a sandy bottom so it’s great for kids. We loved that a fishing boat was available as well as kayaks and paddle boards. The cottage was cozy and the beds were comfortable. »
