A Gem in Old Town

We LOVED our stay at The Nostalgic. It's a home full of character and convenience. The walkability to town was a major plus for us. We loved the access to shopping and great restaurants and Ubers were great to downtown DC. The check-in process was easy and the home was comfortable and clean. Renee is a great property manager and is easy to communicate with. The property itself is superb with many outstanding details- we celebrated Christmas early with my son and his girlfriend from Los Angles and Renee had it all decorated for Christmas. The location could not have been better since we wanted to stay and visit old town Alexandria. Renee gave us recommendations for restaurants that turned out to be superb places! We had a fantastic stay at The Nostalgic in Old Town Alexandria. The home was just as described and in a great location. It was an easy 15 min walk to King Street, but the walk is just lovely. The home had nice amenities and comforts of home (comfortable bedding, toiletries, toys for kids, k cups, etc.). It’s a great home. Of note- the home is 4 stories so there are many steps to navigate for guests. We will definitely like to return.

Beautiful townhouse! Great location!

Our family of 5 loved our stay at the townhouse! It is spacious, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. Renée was very responsive and provided helpful recommendations. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood and a pleasant 15 minute walk to Old Town Alexandria's shops and restaurants. About a 15 drive to DCA and about 20 minutes to DC attractions and Georgetown University. We would definitely stay again!

Don't think twice - Just come!

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place and its host, Reneé! I knew nothing of the area and wasn't sure about distance from DC at first but this fun area, and this house in particular, made our stay exceptional. The place is nothing less than gorgeous and has every little detail. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Wish I didn't have to leave! Thank you, thank you, dear Reneé!

Wonderful!

We had an amazing time in this house, 4 kids from 1-13 with us and we had more room than we needed! It is immaculate, clean, and the attention to detail couldn’t be better. It was so clean and organized, but still so warm and inviting. Renee is a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more helpful. She personally took care of an issue we ran into with VRBO when we needed to unexpectedly rearrange the trip. Don’t hesitate to book here!
